The
State of the Union Address is tonight, and the big question on my mind is whether I should even pay attention at all. Last year's address was so full of lies, distortion, and baiting-and-switching that by the end I was less informed than before. If the effect of watching the speech is to
make me dumber, shouldn't I just avoid it altogether?
If I played the
SOTU Drinking Game I might be able to forget the misinformation, but at the cost of brain cells. Maybe I'd better just watch
Buffy instead.
