Alas, poor Nupraptor. I knew him well...

Last week's quote was from Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, spoken by Kain shortly before he is assassinated.

This week's quote is Difficulty: Extremely Obscure; 6 points.

Also, it's the Ides of March, so beware.

This one seems very familiar. I'm going to work on it...

Hmm... did I miss the rules for how the quotes work? I'd rate this one as easy, but only because I googled for the phrase and every result was nearly identical. :) (I've not actually read the book involved) Granted, if search engines are allowed, then it may be quite difficult to pick non-easy quotes... ah well... now to go comment on BESM. :)

Oh, and I do like the quote, it almost makes me want to read the book now. :)

Yeah, I never stating that Googling for the quote was against the rules (because it is obviously unenforceable) but I did claim that it is unethical. In any case I think every quote I've used so far can be identified trivially if one uses Google.

Hey! I didn't know we could cheat! WELL. I guess if that's the way you're all going to play...

(I'm drowning in my own sea of moral superiority hahaha)

By the way I'm still working on it, I'm leaning towards Jekyll and Hyde?? Somehow that doesn't seem right, though...

Sounds fair :) I'll not spoil the answers then by googling, but at least in this case i'd never have gotten it... (except perhaps by listing books at random, though I suppose with a bit of thought I prolly could narrow down which ones would be likely... hmm... perception of what books Travis reads/has read...)

Anyways, when do we get a new quote? I want one I have a chance at guessing :)

I've been posting new quotes every Monday. Next Monday may be an exception, since I'll be in Montreal for the APS March Meeting and therefore my Internet access will be uncertain. Maybe I'll post something on Saturday to keep the quote fans occupied. :)

I am thoroughly peeved that this quote is escaping me...

Can I have another hint?

Jekyll & Hyde is not the source for the quote, but is in the right league.
