Art/Physics collision

Via Boing Boing, some weirdly beautiful artistic renditions of elementary particles. I like the photon especially.

Can we get the artist to do some condensed matter stuff? I'd love to see Cooper pairs, quasiparticles, and phonons...

Eric Heller has his quantum chaos art gallery at this page. He has even exhibited in museums and sells it. The stuff comes from computations (and perhaps from a couple experiments). Among the reason I like it is that the subject is very close to my heart. (Heller is one of the bigshots in the field, for what it's worth.)
