my apocalyptic tenor has not been dispelled

I don't know if this will show up, but it's the T. Rex skeleton at the National Museum of Natural History. I spent the day in Washington DC, and possibly saw Rick Santorum. (I inadvertently walked into one of his campaign events.) Better pictures (of the city, not the senator) to follow when I'm on a connection better than my phone.

Ugh, I wish I didn't have science that needed (and still needs) to be done... Hanging out in DC would have been fun.

AG: Apocolyptic terror re: the T-Rex or Santorum? We all know how warm and friendly T-Rex is, even if a bit misguided at times.

Mason: It's all good--just keep in mind this simple rule. Before you step inside the museum, hold you fist high and shout, "For science!" Then you're all clear.

For science!

I wasn't actually feeling apocalyptic, I just wanted a T-Rex quote to go with the picture, and that was the first one I thought of.

You saw "the frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex" and aren't feeling apocalyptic? You're a strong man! :-)

Justin: It was a bit disconcerting to encounter santorum amidst a crowd of santorum enthusiasts, but I figured one has to accept this risk when visiting DC.

It came through quite well even on my BlackBerry in Bristol, England!
